I'm trying so hard but so far, I just can't embrace 22 degrees below stinking zero! I'm trying Lord....I am. Many just don't know the sting (and I mean that literally) of the cold. It HURTS to take a deep breath outside so I have to take lots of little shallow breaths like I learned in prenatal classes. The tiniest uncovered patch of skin burns for a minute or two before going numb...numb is bad.
I talked on the phone to Tara Brown this morning and she was experiencing 75 degree temps and is dreaming of a white Christmas. Here in Sibera...I mean Wyoming the sun is out and shining bright and it doesn't even look cold. There is just a light dusting of snow on the ground....it's not until you walk out the door and instead of saying burrrrr you say OUCH!
